NEW BOARD CHAIR FOR TRA

Our very own Amber Gustafson is now serving as the Texas Retailers Association Board Chair until August 2018 and will represent the interests of Texas retail members from small retail, large stores and grocers on the state and national level. She has a keen eye toward goals for TRA to increase membership and grow the association. TRA welcomes Amber and the entire 2016-2017 board!

She just returned from Italy as a guest of the Italian government, chosen as one of only 18 American jewelry store owners selected to attend. Now of international fame, Amber also has plenty of homeland accolades to her name:
Texas Retailers Association Small Retailer of the Year in 2016, and one of National Retail Federation’s 2016 Retail Champions. She opened her store, Amber’s Designs, in 2001 with 600 square feet of space and a dream. Since then Amber has grown her company through her passion, determination and by being involved in professional networks like TRA.
“All businesses start small, and with the help of TRA keeping us informed and interfacing with legislators that vote on laws that affect our business, and the great networking opportunities with small and large retail, we learn from each other and can build our businesses to be the most successful in our industry” Board Chair Amber Gustafson said.
